Transformational building works completed in Ingatestone Conservation Area
AM-P is delighted to see the completion of building works at 24 High Street, Ingatestone.
Following the successful grant of planning permission for this sensitive site in the heart of the Conservation Area, the development has now been completed and the properties are on the market. The scheme comprised alterations and extensions to the existing High Street buildings, together with the construction of a new dwelling on vacant land to the rear. The project required careful consideration of the setting of neighbouring listed buildings, while also addressing the challenges of a constrained site and tight access.
The before-and-after photographs reveal the transformation of previously neglected buildings, where unsympathetic extensions and fenestration have been replaced with a high quality development that makes a positive contribution to the character and significance of the Ingatestone Conservation Area.
