Canfield Road, High Roding

Andrew Martin Planning (AM-P) recently secured outline planning permission for 2no. new family dwellings. The site is located in High Roding, within the Essex countryside. Uttlesford District Council is the LPA.

The client sought to maximise the site’s residential potential and make best use of a countryside site, located just outside of the settlement boundary to create 2no. new high quality homes. AM-P developed strong planning justification, despite two previous dismissed appeals for residential use, to achieve a positive outcome. AM-P’s understanding of BNG regulations also meant that despite the site being partially greenfield in nature, net gain could be achieved on site. AM-P also positively engaged with the Parish Council to achieve local support for proposals.
